У традиційному святі Маланки 14 січня в м. Вашківці щороку беруть участь більше 20 гуртів маланкарів з різних кутків м. Вашківці, а також гості з навколишніх районів та областей України.

В центрі уваги цікаві маски, костюми, які виконані руками вашківчан, споконвіків є традиційні Дід, Баба, Ведмеді. Щороку з’являються нові маски. Можливо, за ними ви впізнаєте когось із своїх знайомих, або самі побажаєте взяти участь у дійстві. 

The traditional holiday of Malanka on January 14 in the town of Vashkivtsi 

hosts annually more than 20 performing groups from different parts of Vashkivtsi, as well as guests from the surrounding areas and regions of Ukraine. 

The focus of attention is interesting masks and costumes, which are made by the local people of Vashkivtsy, some of them like the costumes of the Old Man, Old Woman and the Bear have been popular for centuries. Every year new masks appear as well. Perhaps you will recognise some familiar faces, or you will wish to take part in the celebration yourself.
